Our day trips depart from Waitui Marina at around 9am each day.  All options include refreshments and towels where required.

Half Day Snorkeling Trip
Travel for approxiamately 30 minutes to one of the many great snorkeling spots in Savusavu Bay. There is also a chance to relax at one of the many unspoilt beaches in the area

Half Day Beach and Bay Cruise
Cruise around the beautiful bays of Savusavu with stops provided at one of the many unspoilt beaches

Half Day River Cruise
We travel for about one hour across Savusavu Bay to the mouth of the Yanawai River. We travel up the river where you will see dramatic rainforests and enormous tropical mangroves. See how the villagers utilise the river to provide their daily needs and livelihoods and if time permits visit one of the villages to experience the true Fijian customs and culture.

Half Day Village Trip
Travel by boat (weather permitting) to Urata Village, a traditional Fijian village located in Balaga Bay. After presenting Sevusevu to the chief take a walk to the village preschool and school where you will see the children perform. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the freshwater hole where the water flows straight from the mountains.Sample the local cooking styles and witness the opening of the underground oven. Weaving and coconut demonstrations complete the visit and then it is back to Savusavu town.


Sunset Cruise
Departs the Marina at approxiamately 5.30pm. Enjoy a leisurely cruise along the coast towards Lesiaceva Point with an opportunity to view one of the most beautiful sunsets in Fiji. Refreshments are available on board at an additional cost. Return to the Marina in time for your dinner arrangements.
